"The Faithfullness of God" I got up extra early this morning and was enjoying a cup of coffee at starbucks while reading in my Bible. I spent some time just thinking about the faithfullness of God and what that really means. In 1 Corinthians 1:9 Paul writes, "God, who has called you into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful." And also in 1 Timothy 2:13 "...if we are faithless, He remains faithful - for He cannot deny himself". I often have to remind myself that God does not make mistakes like we do...he does not go back on his word and never forgets his promises made to us. People sometimes break promises and go back on their 'word', and sometimes I have the urge to assume the same things from God - but scripture is certain that God cannot stop being completely honest, completely true, completely trustworthy. Even in our times of weakness, confusion, doubt, and fear - God remains faithful to us. The more I discover about God, the more I realize He's better than I thought he was.
